I'm Megan. Some know me as a teacher, while others know me as a performing musician. In 2018, I received my Bachelor of Music as a Classical Guitar Performance major from the University of Ottawa. Throughout my University career, I had the privilege to study under prolific Canadian composer Patrick Roux, and perform in masterclasses with world renowned artists such as Pepe Romero, SoloDuo, Ana Vidovic, and more. Shortly after graduating, I volunteered as a program coordinator for a not-for-profit organization at SickKids called Arts Healing Hearts. I worked at Long and Mcquade as an Acoustic Department specialist and a private teacher concurrently. Now a member of the Perfect Harmony Music Studio, I teach students of all ages and help facilitate all sorts of community events. At Brightpath Kids, I had my own music and movement curriculum and teach a literacy program for early childhood age. I taught Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 5 Music at Montessori Country School shortly after. I currently teach Kindergarten to Grade 5 at Lynn-Rose Heights Junior Campus, bridging my engaging curriculum with the Ontario Arts Standards.
